          Wedding Tips for the

Bride and the Groom

1. Congratulations on becoming engaged! This day is a special day for you and your future husband. So relax and enjoy your day. Let a professional  take the stress away, making it more pleasant for you and your family. Laugh with your friends and family as the day progresses and enjoy every moment,  for you are about  to start a new life as husband and wife.........

2.  When planning the wedding date you should consider the location of your wedding site , whether indoors or outdoors. Depending on the time of year the weather will be a big factor.  Do not choose a date near a holiday, some people take vacation time on holidays and would not be able to attend.

3.  The more time you have to plan your wedding  the more options you have to choose from, and that may be a plus when paying for everything you want. Ask to see if the vendors may have payment plans for their services. This may be of some help to you and your family when you are deciding on their services.

4.  You may find that service providers who work out of their homes ( Photographers, Caterers, Videographers, etc. ) are less expensive than those who have a Shop or Studio.

5.  Get every agreement in WRITING. ( D.J., Florists, Caterers, Photographers, Limos, etc. ). If a vendor doesn't have a formal agreement , just write down the details as you understand them, and ask the vendor to sign and date the agreement. The importance of the details of the agreement cannot be underestimated; without written information , you are dependent on the memory of your vendors.

6.  When checking on a wedding photography package, specify to your photographer that you would like to have a time schedule of the photos to be taken. Concentrate on your photos. Ask your photographer about the schedule of when and where the photo sessions are to take place before and after the ceremony. Stress firmly to your wedding party and relatives who are in the photos, to go immediately to these locations, so that you don't waste precious time. Your guest will be waiting patiently at the reception site for your photography to be completed.

7.  Please explain to all the guest and relatives that are taking pictures, during the alter returns, that they may cause you to blink, or slow down the photo session. Please tell them, they can take all the pictures they want at the reception.

8.  Please read the Word about TRADITION on the opening page . It will make your day go by so fast and easy for you and your future husband and families.

9.  The day of the wedding, the bride should eat a good breakfast, and bring some snacks and drinks to the wedding site. Make sure everyone eats, including the Groom and his guys.

10.  Make sure the groom has some involvement in the planning of the wedding.

11.  To wrap it up , use patience, plan, plan, plan, write it down, get all the details, divide work into teams, compromise where needed, give yourself months, and months to organize, and enjoy the planning process itself. Never assume anything, check and double check for all contingencies and possible snags and emergencies. Plan how you will cope and overcome these when and if they happen.

12. ENJOY YOUR SPECIAL DAY!!!
